LEXINGTON, N.C. — UPDATE: Both directions of NC-109 near Lexington, near Hannerville Road are now open.

A car crash has caused a road closure in both directions on NC-109, in Lexington near Hannerville Road.
The road is expected to be closed until about 9:30 p.m., Monday night, according to the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
