The Good Place
NBC, 10 ET/PT

Kristen Bell and Ted Danson return tonight for the second season of this devilishly smart sitcom. The first season of The Good Place was a delightful diversion that was completely upended by a truly shocking twist in its finale, revealing that the Good Place wasn't so good after all. The new season deals with the ramifications of that twist, which sent its primary characters back to the beginning of their afterlife, with no memory of their discoveries.

The Sinner
USA, 10 ET/PT

Jessica Biel's crime drama ends its first season tonight, and here's hoping it answers all the questions viewers have been asking about why a seemingly ordinary woman would violently murder an apparent stranger in broad daylight in front of dozens of witnesses. Last week's episode revealed a key part of Cora's (Biel) history with the victim, but there are still parts of her past that are murky.

Channel Zero: No End House
Syfy, 10 ET/PT

The first season of Syfy's horror anthology series, "Candle Cove," followed a man who obsessively tried to recreate a children's show from the 1980s. The new season, premiering tonight, offers has a new story, about a woman and a group of friends who visit a haunted house with very specific horrors concealed within.
